Gymnastics

Michelle has a gymnastics class every Saturday morning and we all go watch her.. She is quite the little monkey.. Brooke has a class on Thursday that I haven't been to yet, but I am hoping to get there this week.. Here a are a few pics from the day..



This was as we were walking to the car, she didnt' want her picture taken. Neither did Kevin..

Michelle has mastered the art of climbing the rope (she has had a year worth of practice in the basement) We are on the 2nd floor looking down at her and she is almost eye level with us.. She zips up the rope.

Beautiful weather in S.S.

On Sunday, we went for a walk out by the Jordan river parkway.. We found a small little hotspring close to Utah Lake.. Unfortunately we couldn't get too close because there were some people bathing, but in swimsuits. We decided not to invade their party... Here are a couple of pictures of the mountains along the trail..

It was a nice day on Saturday and so we decided to take advantage of the sun.. Kevin got out his pit bike and we took it around the construction site next to our house..

This weekend

My parents were in town this week visiting and so Margaret and I took turns entertaining.. :) We had her family over saturday night along with our clan of 7 and my parents. that was 14 people in our home.. I think we handled it pretty well.. My parents were able to spend some more time with Kevin's kids and I think they are smitten with each other.. Little kids just love my parents.. Here are a few pics of the evening..

My first month

I have been married for one month.. And so far it has been so much fun... I still can't believe I packed up my house, rented it out, went from working at the Hospital to working from my bedroom, no more communting, and now partially responsible for 5 children.. A little overwhelming, but I have been trying to take it day by day.. Yes there are still boxes in the basement that I need to go through, but I will get to them.... eventually... I love to go back and look at the pictures from that day.. Here are some of my favorites...

My neices and nephews ranging in age 18 to age 1.. We are missing Rylan (age 8) and Maddy (age 3).

All my best friends from Boise... Nici, Brenda, Lindsey, Amy and Elaine. I am so glad they were able to make it, even though I wasn't able to talk with them much... :(

Margaret came over to help me dye my hair and so Brooke and Michelle were excited to watch Lizzy.. They let her play with their toys and were so good to her..


A meal doesn't go by without someone wanting to help in the kitchen.. SO I usually give them something to do.. We were making Brownies for FHE and Ryan wanted to help.. I couldn't resist this pic..

These kids love to read.. They have been having a lot of fun with the books I contributed to their library.. One night Brooke and Michelle decided to "read" to us.. They brought over little chairs and began reading..
